The all-in-one Bitcoin Suisse staking service allows clients to receive staking rewards from Dash masternode operations without needing to own or maintain masternode infrastructure.

The Dash blockchain uses a dual layer of technology for its consensus mechanism, with both proof-of-work mining and masternodes being employed. The Dash masternodes, of which there are approximately 5’000, operate with proof-of-stake and help support advanced services and governance on the network.

What are the requirements?

There is a minimum amount of DASH equivalent to CHF 5’000 needed in order to stake with the Bitcoin Suisse Dash staking service – and no special technical expertise or infrastructure required.

The service is only available to onboarded clients of Bitcoin Suisse.

What are the fees?

We charge a flat fee of 15% including VAT (if applicable) on the rewards generated from the staking operation. If you do not hold any Dash and would like to start staking, Bitcoin Suisse will be happy to help you.

Can I trade while staking?

The crypto assets that you stake cannot be traded at the same time.

What is the lockup period?

Dash tokens are subject to no lockup period based on the Dash protocol specifications. This means that if you decide to stop staking with Bitcoin Suisse, your Dash tokens will be available to you for trading after being processed (usually within one business day).
