Behind the Scenes: July 2024

We are happy to announce several updates to our system landscape. Our dedicated teams worked persistently to bring you an array of novel features, elevating your client experience to a new level.

1. Bitcoin Suisse Online – Zero Downtime

We are pleased to introduce the "Zero Downtime" feature, which enhances system uptime and ensures a seamless user experience during maintenance operations and unexpected outages of single systems in our system landscape. Key functionalities, including trading, may remain operational during planned maintenance windows. This enhancement underscores our commitment to providing reliable and uninterrupted services.

2. Crypto deposits – Automatic deposit detection

We are pleased to announce the implementation of automatic deposit detection. This feature ensures that users receive immediate notifications following the deposit of cryptocurrencies to their Bitcoin Suisse Online accounts. Users will be promptly informed as soon as their transaction is detected by our nodes, ensuring a more efficient and responsive user experience.

3. Display of Vault accounts in Bitcoin Suisse Online

Our development team has integrated the display of Bitcoin Suisse Vault accounts within Bitcoin Suisse Online. Vault clients can now view their crypto assets in Vault custody via their Bitcoin Suisse Online accounts. The Bitcoin Suisse Vault is our institutional-grade, highly secure cold storage solution.

4. CSV format available for downloading statements

We are pleased to announce that clients using Bitcoin Suisse Online can now conveniently download account statements and balance statements in CSV format. This new feature offers several advantages for our clients. The CSV format allows for easy integration with accounting software, simplifying the reconciliation of crypto transactions alongside traditional financial records. With this enhancement we aim to provide a user-friendly tool that empowers our clients in managing their crypto assets effectively.

5. New Navigation in Bitcoin Suisse Online

With our latest rework on the navigation, we have removed the top bar of the application to give more room for the key functionalities of our platform. This is especially beneficial for smaller laptop screens. At the same time, we have simplified the elements in the main navigation by moving the reports to the secondary navigation, to be found when pressing on your user in the bottom left. We have also combined the deposits and withdrawals section under “transfers”. We believe that these changes improve accessibility and the overall user friendliness of our platform for our clients.
