Zug, January 16, 2024 – Bitcoin Suisse announced today that Andrej Majcen, Co-Founder of Bitcoin Suisse and currently Head Global Expansion & Strategic Clients, will succeed Dirk Klee as Group CEO of Bitcoin Suisse as of February 1, 2024. The succession forms part of a strategic adjustment in response to changed external factors within the Swiss market environment. Dirk Klee will stay on as a senior advisor to the Board of Directors of Bitcoin Suisse and continue to support the development of the Digital Asset Management business of the company.

In the light of recent developments in Switzerland, the Board of Directors of Bitcoin Suisse has decided on a strategic adjustment and nominated Andrej Majcen as the successor and new Group CEO of Bitcoin Suisse to lead the company into the next phase of accelerated growth and international expansion. The Board of Directors of Bitcoin Suisse is very proud that Andrej Majcen, one of the most experienced leaders in the digital asset space, takes on the responsibility as CEO in this new decisive phase of Bitcoin Suisse.
