Zug, 24. Juli 2020 – Bitcoin Suisse is pleased to announce a new member of its group management team. Markus Perdrizat, formerly responsible for the blockchain risk assurance practice at PwC Switzerland, will take over as Head Custody at Bitcoin Suisse AG and CEO of Swiss Crypto Vault AG, effective mid-August. His predecessor, Philipp Vonmoos, will remain on the Board of Directors of Swiss Crypto Vault AG as he moves into a new role as Head Corporate Development & Strategy and member of the management team for Bitcoin Suisse Group.
Bitcoin Suisse continues to solidify and expand its position as the Swiss crypto-finance and digital asset market leader. Its institutional-grade crypto custody service has played a pivotal role in the development of the company’s institutional service offering. Now with the addition of Markus Perdrizat, Bitcoin Suisse Group gains another experienced executive and subject-matter expert for the next phase of its growth.
As incoming CEO of Swiss Crypto Vault AG and Head Custody at Bitcoin Suisse AG, Perdrizat brings outstanding expertise in IT infrastructure for blockchain and crypto assets. Before working in the emerging technologies risk assurance team at PwC for the last four years, Perdrizat served nearly sixteen years in various roles at UBS including Product Manager and Systems Architect as well as Global Oracle Engineering Team Lead. He has also been an active member of the Crypto Valley Association Cyber Security Working Group, of which he recently became chairman.

Besides the ISAE-3402 audit, Vonmoos led the Bitcoin Suisse Vault through successful audits by PwC, Grant Thornton and Zühlke Engineering as well as extensive development including the recently announced support for delegation of XTZ (Tezos) from the Vault.
In his previously announced new role as Head Corporate Development & Strategy, Vonmoos will support the company with its expansion strategy, M&A and partnerships plans, building on his strong experience in the Swiss finance industry which includes executing Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and capital market transactions.
