Peter Camenzind joined Bitcoin Suisse in 2022 as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) and took over the role as Chief Clients Officer as of 1st of November 2024. As a long-standing Deputy CEO, Peter was appointed CEO of Bitcoin Suisse AG in September 2025. In this role, he is responsible for further developing Bitcoin Suisse’s home market in Switzerland as well as our hubs in Copenhagen and Bratislava, ensuring the continued delivery of premium, client-centric crypto financial services.

Previously, his career spanned over 20 years at Vontobel, where he held various roles including Head of Transaction Banking, Global Head of Distribution Structured Products and most recently Head of P&S Banks Switzerland. He studied at the University of Berne and received an MBA from the University of Rochester – Simon Business School.
