

Bio
Adrian Hasler is a finance expert, economist, and former Prime Minister of Liechtenstein. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen in 1991, he initially worked as the Head of Controlling for the Business Unit Thin Films at Balzers AG. In 1996, he joined VP Bank as Head of Group Finance. From 2001 to 2004, he was member of the Liechtenstein parliament. In 2004, he was appointed Chief of the National Police by the government, rising to become Prime Minister in 2013.
During his eight-year tenure as premier, he was committed to the further development of the financial centre. Hasler played a pioneering role in shaping the country’s ambitious and forward-looking regulatory framework for crypto assets, culminating in the passing of The Liechtenstein Blockchain Act in 2020. Since stepping away from politics in 2021, he has been active as a member of the board of directors and an advisory board. He joined the board of Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG in April 2025.
