Renzo Küttel joined Bitcoin Suisse in November 2022 as Chief Information Security Officer, becoming responsible for information security across Bitcoin Suisse AG. In February 2024, he was promoted to Chief Risk Officer, adding responsibility for risk control while maintaining his CISO role, and joined the company's extended executive management. In November 2025, Renzo's responsibilities expanded to cover both Bitcoin Suisse AG and Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG, where he now oversees risk control and information security across both entities.

Before joining Bitcoin Suisse, Renzo spent three years as a technical consultant at Eraneos AG in Zürich, leading client advisory projects across financial services, utilities, and public transport. Previously, he held senior positions at Bank Vontobel AG, including Chief Operating Officer of Vontobel Investment Banking, where he led a stablecoin project on the Ethereum blockchain, and Head of Business Engineering & Data Platform. From 2014 to 2017, he served as COO and member of the executive management at Urner Kantonalbank. Renzo holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Cybersecurity from Hochschule Luzern, a Global Master in Blockchain Technologies from Zigurat Institue of Technology/University of Barcelona, a Lic. Oec. HSG in Technology Management from University of St. Gallen, and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from ETH Zürich.
