Sandro Huwyler joined Bitcoin Suisse in July 2018 as a Senior Trader and Head of Credit, where he was responsible for building and expanding the credit business, managing cash disposition and liquidity, and trading digital currencies. In January 2022, he was promoted to Head of Treasury & Controlling, assuming responsibility for financial and liquidity planning, market and liquidity risk management, annual budgeting, and the development and execution of the company's investment strategy. In February 2026, Sandro was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG, where he now oversees financial operations, treasury management, and strategic financial planning across European markets.

Before joining Bitcoin Suisse, Sandro worked as an Active Advisor at IFS AG in Zürich, where he managed trading and risk management for client portfolios across multiple asset classes. He began his career with roles at Falcon Private Bank and UBS AG in Zug. Sandro is a CFA Charterholder and passed the CAIA Level II Exam in 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich and completed the banking certification program at the Center for Young Professionals in Banking.
