Zug; April 28, 2021 – Bitcoin Suisse is today announcing the upcoming full integration of its two subsidiaries – Swiss Crypto Vault AG and Swiss Crypto Tokens AG – to consolidate their offering under the Bitcoin Suisse brand.

In just over three years, Bitcoin Suisse has developed both businesses and their offering to institutional scale. As a further step, Bitcoin Suisse now decided to simplify its brand structure and integrate the two offerings under the Bitcoin Suisse brand. Swiss Crypto Vault AG, founded in 2017, is a 100% owned subsidiary of Bitcoin Suisse and responsible for the technical operation of the Bitcoin Suisse Vault as an outsourcing partner. Swiss Crypto Tokens AG, established in 2018, provides comprehensive services related to the issuing of tokens. Both businesses will now be fully integrated into Bitcoin Suisse AG.

Markus Perdrizat, CEO of Swiss Crypto Vault AG and Head of Custody at Bitcoin Suisse, and Armin Schmid, CEO of Swiss Crypto Tokens AG and Head of Payments at Bitcoin Suisse, will continue to serve as members of the Executive Board of Bitcoin Suisse and perform their existing roles within the company. The respective teams will continue to manage existing and future client relationships, as well as driving the future development of the offering. For the clients, other than additional simplicity due to a unified interface, the integration will not entail significant changes. Enabling further specialization, all technologies and knowledge of both businesses will be integrated within the Bitcoin Suisse brand going forward.
