Staking Liquid Staked ETH (LsETH)
As a protocol integrator, Bitcoin Suisse offers the option to participate in Liquid Staking through the Liquid Collective protocol. Clients of Bitcoin Suisse receive a receipt token representing the underlying staked funds in the protocol, which enables tradability and DeFi compatibility for staked assets.
What is Liquid Staked ETH (LsETH)?
Instead of just holding your ETH, you can hold LsETH, a liquid staking token programmatically minted by the protocol, to receive ETH network rewards for helping to secure the Ethereum network—without sacrificing liquidity. Use LsETH in DeFi and web3 for increased capital efficiency.
Liquid Staking
Liquid staking has grown to become one of the most popular forms of staking on Ethereum in 2022. There are various implementations, but most involve minting a “receipt token” which is issued to the user upon staking funds through a protocol. Said receipt token constitutes a certificate of ownership on the underlying staked coins and rewards in the protocol. The representation of the ownership in the form of a receipt token allows users to easily transfer, trade or otherwise utilize the staked funds.
Liquid Collective Protocol
Liquid Collective provides a secure liquid staking standard: it is a protocol with multi-chain capabilities designed to meet the needs of institutions, built and run by a collective of leading web3 teams including The Liquid Foundation, Alluvial, Coinbase Cloud, Figment, Kiln, Rome Blockchain Labs, Kraken, Staked, and more. Liquid Collective will be governed in a decentralized manner by a broad and dispersed community of industry participants.
