Zug, July 5, 2022 – Due to growing demand, Bitcoin Suisse has launched a new service for Bitcoin Suisse Pay Merchants, “Keep Crypto”. The service enables merchants to decide if they want to keep the cryptocurrencies they receive as payment. “Keep Crypto” will for now be available based on request only and not set as a default setting.

Up until now, the customers of Bitcoin Suisse Pay Merchants paid with cryptocurrencies, while the merchants received the agreed selling price in fiat currencies. Amidst rising crypto adoption, merchants are increasingly expressing interest in keeping the cryptocurrencies they receive from their customers. The new service meets this demand for accumulating crypto while further diversifying the payment offering of Bitcoin Suisse.

“Keep Crypto” provides Bitcoin Suisse Pay Merchants not only with the opportunity to increase their revenue, but also enables access to additional products and services of Bitcoin Suisse such as trading and staking. The feature is only available for Bitcoin Suisse Pay merchants.

Armin Schmid, Head of Bitcoin Suisse Pay, stated: “It is great to see the growing demand from merchants to keep cryptocurrencies. Our new service “Keep Crypto” supports the scalability and applicability of crypto payments towards mainstream adoption. We believe that it can also drive more widespread acceptance of other crypto services that we offer to our clients and merchants further. Therefore, we are thankful that inapay, a mobile crypto payments service by Zug-based information technology company Inacta AG, offers our new “Keep Crypto” services to its client base as well.”
